My name is Danielle and I am a person-centered therapist. This means that during a therapy session I will strive to meet you in a non-judgmental way, while offering you empathy in a genuine manner. I have a MSc in Counselling Psychology from Keele University, with specific interests in bereavement and trauma. I am also able to provide support with goal oriented coaching, brief solution focused therapy and EFT (emotional freedom technique) as well.
I hold a certificate in supervision from the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy and offer clinical supervision. For more details please visit the supervision portion of this website.
If you are an organisation or group looking for CPD courses please visit the workshops and training portion of this website for further details.
I am a registered member of the BACP. I have received training in safeguarding and working with autistic spectrum disorders as well as training in trauma, dissociation and recovery and working with relational trauma. I work with clients primarily from a person-centered base but have received training in brief solution focused therapy and enjoy working with creative methods. I have had the privilege of working with individuals from various backgrounds through the journey of loss and bereavement, bereavement by suicide, depression, low mood and self-esteem, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder and sexual abuse.
