FYPS: First Year Peer Supervision

A Monthly Support Circle for Therapists in Their First Year of Private Practice

FYPS is a peer-led supervision group designed to support qualified therapists navigating their first year in private practice. Meeting monthly via Zoom (aligned with the academic year), we create a confidential space to explore:

  • Clinical case content in a reflective and process oriented manner

  • Ethical dilemmas (guided by the BACP Ethical Framework)

  • Business challenges and private practice realities

  • Self-care and professional boundaries

  • CPD opportunities and shared learning

With a group size of 8–10 members and 2-hour sessions, FYPS offers a rich, supportive environment where each voice is heard and valued.

What you'll Gain

Why Group Supervision?

Because growth doesn’t happen in isolation. FYPS gives you a circle of trusted peers who get it—the wobbles, the wins, and everything in between. Whether you're wrestling with a tricky client or wondering how to set your fees, this group offers space to think, feel, and grow.
